2021 Intern Roster

Max Tanzer is back for his second season as the voice of the Sabre Dogs, after winning the Broadcaster of the Year award in the Expedition League for the 2020 season. Max is from Mercer Island, Washington. He is currently a student at Ithaca College studying Sports Media and is pursuing a career as a sports broadcaster. In his free time, he enjoys watching baseball, watching movies, and editing videos. Through high school, he played catcher for Mercer Island High School and roots for the Seattle Mariners.

Ballard is from Dunwoody, Georgia, and is a fourth-year journalism major at the University of Georgia. After graduation, he plans on staying at UGA and studying to receive his master's degree in Journalism as well. In his free time, Ballard enjoys playing golf, running, and watching any sport that's on TV. Ballard is a die-hard Atlanta Braves and Georgia Football fan. 

Hannah Drysdale recently graduated from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado where she earned a degree in Journalism and Communications. During her time in Colorado, she interned for a local baseball team called the Fort Collins Foxes. She leaned valuable communication as well as marketing and public relation skills. Coming all the way from Orange County, California she is eager to gain more experiencing working in the sports world.

Maggie is from Martinsburg, WV and is currently a student at West Virginia University studying Sport Management and Event Planning.  She is excited to spend her summer working for the Sabre Dogs and learn more about her dream career. She loves sports and is a big Detroit fan by family default.

Rebecca is from Wichita, KS and is attending Kansas State University located in Manhattan, KS. She is enrolled in the College of Business, studying Organizational Management, and is set to graduate in December of 2021.  Rebecca has spent her time interning for K-State Athletics and is looking forward to spending her summer with the Sabre Dogs. She loves anything to do with sports and is a big Kansas City Chiefs fan!

Trent is from New Braunfels, Texas and graduated from New Braunfels Christian Academy in 2017. He is currently majoring in Marketing with a minor in Communications at Texas Lutheran University, where he is on track to graduate in the spring of 2021. He spent a semester studying abroad at Harlaxton College in England. Trent is an avid lover of Mexican food, Big Red soda, and everything sports!

Madison is from Medina, Ohio and is currently a Junior at Bowling Green State University where she is studying Visual Communication Technology. She has been working for the BGSU Falcons football team as a Video Operations Assistant during games and practices. Madison also works as a New Media and Design Intern for Bowling Green Athletics, creating graphics and updating team’s social media accounts.

Jeremy is from Battle Creek, Michigan and is currently a Junior studying Sport Management at Bowling Green State University. Jeremy currently works for the Bowling Green State hockey, and baseball team as an equipment manager. Jeremy is an avid Detroit sports fan including the Tigers, Lions, Pistons, Red Wings and especially The Michigan State Spartans. Jeremy also enjoys golfing, and spending time with his friends and family, and is looking forward to spending his summer with the Sabre Dogs!
